The morrowind piccys are amazing.
The Balmora one took me a sec to actually recognize the town. Not used to seeing it in that light.
Oh, and I always hated Pelegiad because it took forever to get there. >.<

Indeed Balmora is already hard to recognize from that point of view (few people may realize how close Balmora is from Vivec).
Add to that the massive Balmora Expansion mod an its like a totally different town
As for Pelagiad same for me, I always felt that it was lost in the middle of nowhere.
Hmmm... I'll have to do the walk from Balmora to Vivec sometime just to get a sense of that. I didn't think they were that close together....
Like Balmora wasn't enough of a central city already. It's the first one that you learn like the back of your hand.... the only one, for me, until Oblivion...
Yeah, it's kind of back-country, like everyone forgot anyone might actually want to go there or even live there, with no silt strider or mage's guild and a landlocked town can't have any boat. So you have to walk. And if you're low level without a very good speed stat, walking is the worst form of gamer torture ever invented.
(Although the opportunities for screenshots sometimes lighten the trip.)

Well all of them are have already been available for a long time with the exception of my ExSuran mod... wich shall have already been made available if I didn't do some minor mistakes...
Most notably thinking "Hey I didn't play WoW for so many months. Let's just take a look at what it's like now, and just play it for a few days, that can do no harm, it's not like I could get sucked in again !", then getting sucked in again...
